C&D Auctions held their weekly sale of prime sheep in Dumfries on Wednesday 2nd April 2025.

Lighter weight hoggs met plenty of demand whilst heavier sorts again met some resistance. Thomson, Lanarkland sold Texel hoggs at £172 with Hiddleston, Wellhill selling to 354p/kg. Cast sheep sought after for all classes. North Country Cheviot ram to £230 from Dobson, Hillend and Texel ewes to £226 from Kennedy, North Cowshaw
