Dumfries OTM and Prime Cattle Report
C&D Auctions Ltd held their fortnightly sale of OTM and Prime Cattle in Dumfries on Monday 17th February 2025.
OTMs again sold at unprecedented levels with all classes meeting a big demand as ringside competition was fierce.
Dairy cattle averaged 227.45p/kg selling to 292p/kg from AW Currie & Son, Barndennoch and to £2205 from David Kennedy & Son, Chapelcroft.
Beef cattle averaged 247.42p/kg to 328p/kg from J Ross Freeman & Son, Clarencefield and to £2562.80 from S Ewart & Son, Belridding.
Bulls averaged 301.65p/kg to 312p/kg from JB Paterson & Co, Hartbush and to £2350.60 Gartnagrenach Farms, Gartnagrenach.
Prime Cattle to 398p/kg from J Jardine, Yett and £2228.80.
