388 Rams forward at Cumberland & Dumfriesshire’s
Annual Ram Fair at Dumfries. A large crowd gathered and all classes met
an animated demand. Trade peaked in the Bluefaced Leicester ring where
demand for quality shearlings out tripped supply and more could have
been sold to advantage.
Top price was £920 consigned by MR TW Hamilton & Son,
Kirkton, Crawford.
