Sale of Breeding Sheep when they sold 6817 head in Dumfries on Friday
27th August 2010.
The firm had a catalogue entry of 3025 Ewe
Lambs of all classes. Included in this was the Annual Show and Sale of
Scotch Mule Ewe Lambs.
The Judge Mr J Kerr, Craigskean found a worthy
pen as Champions which were consigned by Mrs K Park & Sons, Dalpeddar
and which realised £130 to
Mr J Fry, Porterstown.

A buoyant trade prevailed throughout
the sale and the average of £97.21 was £16.58 up on the year.

At their Annual Show and Sale of 3007 Gimmers The Gimmers were presented
to a packed ringside of both local and distant buyers with trade well
in excess of sellers expectations to average £132.61 (+£23.80).
Prior
to the Sale the Show of Scotch Mule Gimmers was expertly judged by Duncan
Morgan, Hereford who awarded the Gladstone Scott Memorial Trophy to M/S
RJ Fry, Porterstown selling at £162. Reserve pen East Dykes £152.
