Mains of Airies Sale

C & D Auctions conducted the annual on farm sale of Airies Texel shearling rams and Romney x ewe lambs for J S Douglas at Mains of Airies, Kirkcolm, Stranraer on Thursday 19th September 2019.

A lovely autumn day brought out buyers to the far south-west corner being attracted to the hardy, un-pampered rams on offer.

Bidding was frenzied to average £464.33.

The leading price of £780 was paid by local farmer J Baillie, Low Glasnick.
