Collie Dogs to 2,600gns

Cumberland & Dumfriesshire held their Autumn sale of 50 working collies and pups at Moffat on Sunday 21st October 2012.

On a bright Sunday morning a large crowd from throughout the British Isles were in attendance. Best quality dogs were scarce.

Topping the Sale at 2600gns was Seoirse O’Neill’s Bill (307808) an April 2010 Black & White Dog by P McGoldrick ‘Glen’ out of NJ Maguire ‘Lil’ which heads to M/S Turnbull Rothbury.

Next Best to 2300gns from Canice McCloskey with Joe (315856) an 18 Month Old Black & White Dog by M.Gallaghers ‘Cap’ out of C McCloskeys ‘Maggie’ purchased by M/S Watt, Corbridge.

Joe McRobert sold ‘Rob’ a Tricoloured 2007 Dog by R Dalziels Cheviot Jamde out of A Dickmans Rule Skye at 2200gns to M/S Douglas, Yarrow.

Don (309928) a Tricoloured dog shown by John Atkinson May 2012 born sired J Richardson’s ‘Staff’ out of JC Longdons Rainbow Scooby sold at 2100gns to M/S Steven Killin.
