Farm Sale at D'Mainholm, Newcastleton
C&D Auction Marts Ltd held the farm sale of G. McGimpsey & Co., D’Mainholm, Newcastleton on Saturday 28th October 2017.
A massive crowd of local and distant buyers ensured trade well exceed expectations, with people travelling from Northern Ireland and up as far as Aberdeen. The sale topped at £28,500 for a Massey Ferguson 5455 (2012) with MX T8 loader. The twin cab Nissan Navara (2011) made £10,300. Polaris Ranger (2013) selling to £7,500, Fait 580 DT tractor & loader (Y reg) sold to £4,600. Star livestock trailer made £4,200. Also making £4,200 was the Marston 8 tonne trailer.
