Prime cattle saw trade a little less by 3p per kilo for
a plainer show of cattle, but still remained in demand. Top was 185.5p

A fantastic show of prime hoggs. The 3659 hoggs over 36 kilos averaged
170p with the 2085 under 36kg averaging 167.3p. The overall average
was 169.3p. There was a larger difference between good quality fleshed
hoggs and plainer sorts than for sometime, but well fed hoggs were
keenly sought after. The sale was topped at £108 for Texel
hoggs from Rascarrel and to 205p for Beltex from Netherwood.
