Another
large entry of lambs and a full ring of buyers ensured that the large
numbers of sheep forward averaged 142.2p on a week where elsewhere
suffered poor trades. 4123 lambs over 36kg averaged 142.7p, with
the 1911 under 36kg averaging 140.6p. The sale was topped at £77
for Suffolks from Blackhaugh and to 170p for Beltex from Messrs Cavers,
Sorbie.
