A small show of over thirty month cattle saw trade
a little sharper on the week for a plainer show of cattle. Top price
of 109.5p for a Friesian heifer from Messrs G. & J. Wilson, Whitehill.

Another good show of 4,370 prime hoggs saw to the usual full ring
of buyers present, resulting in an overall average of 188.6p per
kilo.
The 1,377 hoggs under 36 kilos averaged 183.3p and the 2,969
hoggs over 36 kilos levelled at 187.1p.
Top price paid per kilo was
224p for Beltex from Messrs Woodburn, Laidlawsteel, with a top price
