A mixed show of prime cattle
saw quality sorts maintaining recent high rates to a top of 184.5p

A lot of feeding
cows on offer were met by a similar trade with top prices of 141.5p
and 123.5p for Simmental and Charolais heifers from J.W. Coulthard & Son,

An excellent show of 4,526 prime hoggs were forward. A few new buyers
around the ring resulted in a stronger trade and an overall average
of 185.9p per kilo. More lean export weight lambs (35-42kg) could
have been sold to advantage (SQQ 32-45kg 186.2p per kilo). The price
per kilo of 249p for Beltex from Stockwellhall.
