sale at Longtown on Thursday 26th May, 2011.
Another good show of well finished cattle on offer but more handyweight
cattle required to fill buyer’s orders. Prices peaked at 199.5p
for a British Blue bullock from A. & W.J. Taylor & Son, Dashwell
Green, purchased by W. Kirkup & Sons, Butchers, Longtown. Mr
A. Irving, Toppin Castle sold a run of 6 Limousin heifers to average
193.1p and topped at 198.5p twice. Limousin bullocks topped at 189.5p
