75 prime cattle, 6 young bulls, 50 over thirty month cattle, 6,698
prime lambs and 7,416 cast ewes & rams at their weekly sale at
Longtown on Thursday 8th September, 2011.
A larger show of prime cattle on offer and a poorer show of quality, with a shortage of good well
fleshed inside feed cattle. Topping the market at 211.5p for a Limousin
bullocks from Mr I Nelson, Outertown and Limousin heifers peaking
at 203.5p from C A Grieve & Sons,
