Longtown on Thursday 3rd November, 2011.
An increased number of 53
prime cattle forward with more well fleshed cattle on offer and once
again a buoyant trade was had throughout averaging 190.3p. Topping
the sale at 208.5p was a Limousin bullock from G.P. & E.A.
Coates, Beckhall. Limousin heifers topped at 207.5p from D.J. Garthwaite & Son,
Wyseby Hill Cottage, purchased by J.A. Jewitt Ltd.
