Longtown on Thursday 26th January 2012.
A bigger show of 60 prime cattle saw trade similar on the week,
prices peaked at 213.5p for a Limousin bullock from A. Irving, Toppin
Castle, purchased by J.A. Jewitt, Quality Meat Wholesalers. Limousin
heifers sold to 212.5p and 211.5p also from Toppin Castle. Limousin
bullocks sold to a top per head of £1,522.43 from J.F. & I.
