50 prime cattle, 4 young bulls, 30 over thirty month cattle, 5,073
prime hoggs and 4,851 cast ewes & rams at their weekly sale at
Longtown on Thursday 26th April 2012.
A plainer show of prime cattle forward resulting in the trade being
slightly easier, although good cattle remained at recent high rates
topping at 224.5p for a brilliant Limousin heifer shown by Messrs
Blaylock, Hallburn. Bullocks topped at 222.5p twice from Messrs Nicholson,
The Gill and Messrs Sisson, Fenton.
