lambs, 567 prime hoggs and 4,097 cast ewes & rams at their weekly
sale at Longtown on Thursday 28th June 2012.
A large show of prime cattle and a good show of quality saw a firm
trade throughout. Top price of 225.5p for a Limousin heifer shown
by D.J. Garthwaite & Son, Wyseby Hill Cottage. Limousin bullocks
sold to 224.5p from A. & W.J. Taylor & Son, Dashwellgreen.
