prime lambs and 7,509 cast ewes & rams at their weekly sale at
Longtown on Thursday 4th October 2012.
Prime cattle saw an increased ringside of buyers
and more quality on offer, with well finished cattle sharper and
the sale topping at 235.5p per kilo for a smart Limousin heifer from
A Moffat, 6 Stonehouse, 230.5p from M/s R Neill, Upper Tinwald and
Continental heifers selling at 233.5p from Messrs Ritson, Swaites

sale average was 155.6p in line with the national trend. The sale
