forward to a full ring of buyers with an overall average of 155p
per kilo.
One of the best shows seen in this centre for many years
saw trade for best quality export weight hoggs being outstanding
and regularly selling between 200-250p/kg.
Heavy hoggs also firmer on the week with light
weight lambs similar if well fleshed with others no more than store
price therefore diluting the overall average.
Top was £101.50
from C. Hebson, Chapel Farm and 255p per kilo for 38kg Beltex lambs
from W McGill, Carsloe, Ayrshire.
