ANNUAL SPRING KIRKCAMBECK SALE
(held at Longtown Auction Mart)
The Cumberland & Dumfriesshire Farmers’ Mart
P.L.C. had forward 785 store cattle at their special Kirkcambeck
sale at Longtown on Tuesday 4th April 2006. All classes of cattle
sold at recent high rates to a packed ringside of buyers from both
Scotland and England. Top price was £700 for a Limousin bullocks
from J H Storrow, Trough Head and Limousin heifers topped at £655
from B M Haslam, Treetops.
