The Cumberland & Dumfriesshire Farmers Mart had forward 150 store
cattle and 51 lots of breeding cattle at their fortnightly sale on
Tuesday 26th May, 2009.
All classes of cattle sold well throughout
the sale especially small grazing cattle which sold at extremely
high rates. Top price was £805
for Limousin bullock from Messrs Wigham Hethermill.

show on offer but met a brisk selling trade. Top was £1680
for a Charolais Bull (5 yr old) from A Spence, Low Brooms. Limousin
heifers with Limousin calf to £1620 from G & S E Fox, Windy
Hill.
