Store cattle saw a lot
of grazing cattle on offer and sold to recent high rates, with a
top price of £800
for a Charolais bullock from W. & A. Forster, The Nook with Simmental
heifers to £815
from W.A. & C.M. Vaughan, High Dovecote.
A catalogue entry of
97 breeding cattle saw a packed ring of buyers who ensured a brisk
trade was had throughout. Prices peaked at £2,000
for a Limousin heifer with a Limousin heifer calf from G.W. Cumming,
Fountanbleau.
