sale of store cattle at Longtown on Tuesday
30th August, 2011.
A
mixed show of quality met the dearest trade seen yet and more numbers
required to fill the buyers demands. Limousin heifers topped the
sale at £1,040 from Mr G.W. Dinnin, Nether Albie with Limousin
bullocks to £930 from J.H. Robinson & Son, Redgatehead.
Breeding
cattle sold to a top of £2,000 for a Charolais bull
from Vernon Farm.
