GREAT ANNUAL KIRKCAMBECK SALE OF STORE CATTLE
SATURDAY 15th OCTOBER 2011
The Cumberland and
Dumfriesshire Farmers’ Mart P.L.C. had forward
a catalogue entry of 813 head at their Annual Kirkcambeck Sale of
Strong Store Cattle on Saturday 15th October 2011.
An excellent show
of cattle forward ensured a flying trade was had throughout and the
sale average being £167 up on the year.
Top price of the day
was £1,110 for a Limousin bullock shown by Messrs Underwood,
Haggistone Holm. Angus bullocks topped at £1,100 for a pen
of 4 from Mr E.A. Dodd, Roanstree. Galloway bullocks to £990
Peela Hill and Blue Greys to £935 Farney Shield.
