The Cumberland & Dumfriesshire Farmers Mart PLC held their Special
January sale of Store Cattle on Tuesday 22nd
January, 2013.
Due to poor weather conditions, less cattle were forward than anticipated.
A packed ringside of keen bidders ensured a flying trade throughout.
The sale was topped at £1,270 for a pair of Limousin bullocks
shown by W.H. & D.A. Gass, Nunscleugh, with others to £1,265
(x2) from the same home. British Blue heifers sold to £1,170
