a great entry of 620 Store Cattle and Suckler Calves at their special
sale on Tuesday 5th March, 2013.
A full ringside of keen bidders ensured a flying trade throughout
with as many as 69 lots selling at over £1,100.
The sale was
topped at £1,360 for a Charolais bullock shown by W. & B.
Nichol, Lawston Farm, with Limousins selling to £1,330 also
from Lawston Farm and £1,310 (x2) from W.H. & D.A. Gass,
Nunscleugh. Angus bullocks topped at £1,300 (x4) from L. & B.
Urwin, Lynnshield. Limousin heifers to £1,260 from J. Robertson & Son,
Becks.
