Sale of Store & Breeding Cattle at Longtown on Tuesday
25th June, 2013.
Some better quality store cattle on offer with a much sharper
trade than previous weeks and vendors going home happy.
The sale
was topped at £1,060 for a 12 month old Limousin heifer shown
by D.H. & J.M. Murray, The Throp.

Breeding Cattle
A shortage of breeders with all classes selling to
recent rates. A Limousin heifer with Angus heifer calf topped the
sale at £1,650
from Millantae Farms. Bulling heifers sold to £1,190 (x2) for
Limousin shown by W.T. Bendle & Son, The Nook.
