The Cumberland & Dumfriesshire Farmers Mart PLC held their Fortnightly
Sale of Store & Breeding Cattle at Longtown on Tuesday
9th July, 2013.
A small show of store cattle met a buoyant trade and continued to
sell at recent high rates with more numbers required to fulfil buyers
demand.
Bullocks sold to £1,045 for a British Blue from Messrs
Wigham, Hethermill with Limousin heifers to £1,000 shown by
Messrs Bell, Winterhope.
