store lambs and breeding sheep at their sale at Longtown on Tuesday
4th November 2008.
Another good show attracted welsh buyers with
all classes again very dear.
Top was £49 for Texel lambs

Hill Cheviots (1,713) met another fast trade with
a top of £38.20
from Hopsrigg, others to £36.50 Granton, £34 Burnfoot
of Ewes.
Breeding sheep (512) were still in demand for quality.

for correct Texel ewes from Finchley who also sold Suffolk crosses
at £44; Hill Cheviots £36 Hillcrest; Greyfaces £32
