very dear with plenty strong pens selling between £70 and £80.

At their Annual Sale of in lambers there
was an entry of 1,102 forward. A very good show attracted huge
interest with buyers from far and near, trade was excellent and
many more good quality sheep could easily have been sold.

in the sale was the dispersal of Girnwood Hill Cheviots, their
tops were £94 and £90
to average £77.88, other Hill Cheviots to £79 and £72
Allfornaught. Shearlings sold £144 for Texels from Alderley
Terrace, who sold correct Texel ewes at £136 and £135;
Suffolk cross £134 Hopestead; North Country Cheviot £109, £107, £100
