The
Cumberland & Dumfriesshire Farmers Mart P.L.C. had forward 1,071
head of ewes with lambs at foot at their sale on Tuesday
24th April, 2012.
A larger show attracted a full ring of buyers with all classes
at extreme rates and short of requirements.
Top was £225 each
for a pure Texel ewe with single tup lamb from Master Thomas Hall,
Knells Farm, who also sold Bleu d’Maines
with twins at £155 each.
