their Annual Main Sale of 1,500 Breeding Ewes and 1,700 Shearlings
at Longtown on Wednesday 5th September 2012.
 With
trade slightly easier on the year, but young sheep selling well,
older correct below ewes little more than killing price.
Top price
of £154 for Mule shearlings from Messrs Edgar, Whitton.
Mule shearlings averaged £136.
Ewes sold to a top of £145
for Texels from Sutton Close. Ewe lambs topped at £107 for
Texel x from Stonehall.
