8,022 Store Lambs (including 1,875 Cheviots and 1,870 Blackfaces)
at their Sale at Longtown on Tuesday 30th October,
2012.
 Another
large show met a trade to the high level of previous weeks.

Breeding Sheep
The Cumberland & Dumfriesshire Farmers Mart P.L.C. held their
late season sale of breeding sheep of all classes at Longtown on
Tuesday 30th October 2012, where 2,512 head were forward.
All classes
were harder to cash than in earlier sales but still managed to find
a home.
Rams topped at £340 for a Texel three shear from Carpet

from Windyhaugh, North Country Cheviot Shearlings to £90 from
Bayles.
Also included was the dispersal of the Closehead flock from
