The Cumberland & Dumfriesshire Farmers Mart PLC had forward
748 breeders and 2,388 store lambs at Longtown on Tuesday
20th August 2013.
 Breeders
were a selective trade with the best in demand. Top of £112
and £100 for Texel shearlings from Stoneygill; Greyface £95
Devonshire Rise, £50 Main Street. Ewes to £94 for Texels
from Linton House; Greyface £88 Cardew Hall; Hill Cheviot £64, £61
Sorbie. Suffolk cross ewe lambs to £70 Barnsallie.
Store lambs were a better quality show, trade again sharper.
