Longtown on Thursday 23rd August 2012.
A smaller, plainer show of prime cattle saw quality
sorts remain in demand. Top price to 220.5p for a Limousin bullock
shown by A. & W.J.
Taylor & Son, Dashwell Green and purchased by W. Kirkup & Sons,
Butchers, Longtown. Limousin heifers sold to 215.5p (3 times) firstly
from J. & N. Blaylock & Son, Hallburn and the others both
from D.J. Garthwaite & Son, Wyseby Hill Cottage.

week, with a lot more plain hill ewes forward harder to cash. Good
